Trevor Petersen
Minister's Warden
Trevor acts as a friend and listening ear to Pastor Johan. He keeps the Pastor accountable in is daily walk with God. In addition to his role in the church, Trevor is a devoted husband and father, always striving to support and encourage his family in their faith.
Robert Bougard
People's Warden
Robert is that friendly face that’s always willing to listens to the needs and complaints of the church members. Together with his wife, Diane, they do house visitations.
Johan Slabbert
Minister
Johan and Ilze have been married for 39 years and have 4 children, namely Janie, Talitha, Christiaan and Joshua. Johan and Ilze have served in 2 churches as the pastoral couple. The first of these was a non-denominational church where they served for 7 years. The second, where they have been for the past 17 years, is BCC, a REACH SA church.
Augi De Freitas
Secretary to Council, Church Administrator
Augi is a man of governance, policies, controls, processes and sound administration. Among other things, he ensures that the council abides by the REACH-SA Constitution, the Constitution of the Brackenfell Community Church, solid administration and ethical principles.
Lance Pienaar
Treasurer
Lance is the treasurer of BCC and in charge of all our finances and budget. He takes this role very seriously and is always working to ensure that the church is financially stable. In addition to his responsibilities at the church, Lance is also a loving husband to his wife Liezel and a dedicated father to his son Finnley.
Anderson Philander
Assistant Minister
Anderson originally pursued a career in Biokinetics, however, God instilled in him a greater love for God's people and the mission of the church. He has since obtained a BTh degree in Theology from GWC and started a new chapter serving at BCC alongside his wife Melissa, and two children: Daniel & Hannah.
